PMDF System Manager's Guide

A conversion channel must be added to PMDF's configuration file in order for conversions to be performed. The entry should have the form:

conversion nox_env_to CONVERSION-DAEMON

Rewrite rules can be added if desired to make it possible to queue mail explicitly to the conversion channel. Something like

conversion $U@conversion.localhostname conversion.localhostname $U@conversion.localhostname

where localhostname is the name of the local PMDF system, will provide the necessary functionality. Once this is done, addresses of the form

user%host@conversion.localhostname

will be routed through the conversion channel regardless of what the CONVERSIONS mapping says.
