Incoming X.400 network connections from remote X.400 MTAs must be associated with the PMDF-X400 responder.

On OpenVMS, you must define a PMDF-X400 service referring to the PMDF image x400_slave for the transport mechanism, OSI or TCP/IP, you are using; see Section 41.5.1 or Section 41.5.2 respectively.
