PMDF System Manager's Guide

On Solaris, if the error message

PMDF check license: FLEXlm license checkout failed: No server for this feature (-3,121)

is reported in the file /pmdf/log/job_controller.log or when attempting to send e-mail with PMDF, then the PMDF license is not properly loaded.

If the error message

PMDF check license: FLEXlm license checkout failed: License file does not support this version (-21,126)

is reported in the file /pmdf/log/job_controller.log or when attempting to send e-mail with PMDF, then the PMDF license loaded has a release date prior to the release of the PMDF software installed on the system. (PMDF licenses allow indefinite running of PMDF software released before the license release date.) A current PMDF license must be loaded.
