PMDF System Manager's Guide

PMDF-FAX supports the use of multinational character sets in e-mail to FAX messages. In order for the proper character set conversions to take place, the character sets used with the local, l, channel (and perhaps any d, mr_local, or other channels which might queue messages to TEXT_TO_PS channels) must be specified with the charset7 and charset8 channel keywords. See Section 2.3.4.50 for details on the use of these channel keywords.
